Dr. Lauren Carney is a certified orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics, practicing in North Dallas, TX. She has been providing orthodontic care in Dallas since 2012. Born and raised in Irving, Texas, Dr. Carney developed an interest in orthodontics from a young age, often visiting her father's orthodontic office, Dr. Pat Ohlenforst, and aspiring to become an orthodontist herself.
She attended Ursuline Academy of Dallas for high school, where she was a Varsity Soccer player. Her experience with Ursuline soccer taught her the value of perseverance and hard work, and she enjoyed contributing to the team's numerous State Championship wins, now exceeding 20 titles.
Dr. Carney went on to attend the University of Notre Dame, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology. After completing her undergraduate studies, she returned to Dallas to pursue dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry.

Dr. Ohlenforst has been practicing in Irving since 1976. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Ohlenforst also received his Master's degree from and completed his orthodontic residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Texas Dental Association.

I loved them so much and didnt want to leave so I had them do a nightguard/retainer to keep my bottom teeth straight! Had to keep coming back. They are like family...
