Dr. Bowen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Alabama.
After attending UNA, he completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Self-Ligating braces are like traditional braces, but do not use elastic ties to hold the wire in place.
This allows patients to go extended periods of time in between appointments.
