Dr. Maddux received his Bachelor's Degree from Old Dominion University with a major in biology. He furthered his education at the prestigious Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, earning a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After graduating top of his class, Dr. Maddux was admitted into the orthodontic residency program at West Virginia University
